International Womens Day

Happy International Women’s Day!

This year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge, which encourages us to challenge gender boas and inequality. One area where gender bias and inequality often intersect is in the world of travel, particularly for women on the autism and disability spectrum. In recognition of International Women’s Day, let’s explore the importance of autism travel and how they can help women on the spectrum access the joys of travel.

Traveling can be a daunting experience for anyone, but it can be especially challenging for women on the autism spectrum. Sensory overload, communication difficulties and uncertainty about new environments can all create significant obstacles. That’s where Travengers comes in. We specialise in planning and booking travel for people on the spectrum and we make a world of difference for the people with autism and disabilities to travel, and create new friendships and memories.

One of the most important things we can do is to help women gain confidence and empowered to travel. By taking care of all the logistics and planning, we can make women’s lives easier without worrying about sensory overload or any obstacles. Additionally by connecting women on the spectrum to other autistic travellers we are growing our community and support for anyone especially women who may feel isolated or marginalised in other areas of their lives.

Whether you’re a woman on the autism spectrum who wants to explore new places, new cultures or connect with other autistic travellers, we can turn your dreams into a reality. This International Women’s Day, let’s celebrate the power of autism travel to empower women on the spectrum to travel, explore and connect with the world. Let’s also remember that there’s still work to be done to ensure that all women, regardless of neurodiversity have equal access to the joys of travel. So let’s choose to challenge the barriers that stand in our way, and work together to create a more accessible and inclusive world for all.

We also want to take a moment to thank all the women at Travengers for their hard work, dedication and contributions. We are very grateful for all that you do. As we celebrate women’s achievements and continue to work towards gender equality, we want you to know that your voices are heard, your perspectives are valued and your impact is appreciated.

Thank you for all that you do today and every day.
